Summary

Valora Inc is hiring a full-stack engineer to contribute to their mobile financial application, Valora, which is built on top of the Celo blockchain network. The engineering team works across mobile, cloud, and blockchain platforms using technologies such as React Native, TypeScript, Solidity, and Google Cloud. The engineer will design and implement features end-to-end, participate in data-informed discussions, work with partners to launch features, and grow their skills through design reviews, code reviews, and learning about technical developments.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Experience implementing a production-level React Native application
• An ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features end-to-end across our technology stack
• Participate in data-informed discussions to prioritize what problems we solve next and how we solve them
• Work with Product and Marketing partners to launch end-user features you help build
• Grow your engineering skills and help others on the team do the same by participating in design reviews and code reviews, and learning about technical developments in the mobile and blockchain spaces

Preferred Qualifications

Bonus: experience with controlled experimentation (e.g., AB split tests)
