Full Stack React Engineer

Summary

Join Constructor, a next-generation ecommerce search and discovery platform, as an engineer on the Merchant Tools team. You will build and maintain the foundation for the application used by global e-commerce brands to manage the shopper product discovery experience. Your work will ensure platform stability and security while enabling efficient work for other teams. You will own specific product areas like authentication and authorization. We seek an engineer with 4+ years of experience, strong frontend skills (React, Typescript), and backend proficiency (Python, Ruby on Rails, or Node.js). Excellent communication and collaboration are crucial. Experience with AWS infrastructure is a plus. Requirements

• Have 4+ years of experience
• Have a strong frontend background
• Be proficient in at least one backend stack
• Be able to launch and maintain multiple services that enable other teams to build features on top of them
• Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Have strong frontend experience with React, Typescript
• Have backend experience with Python, Ruby on Rails or Node.js
• Have experience with automated testing frameworks

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the foundation for the application used by merchandisers of global e-commerce brands to manage the shopper product discovery experience worldwide
• Maintain the stability and security of the platform
• Enable other teams to deliver work efficiently
• Own specific product areas that affect the platform as a whole such as authentication and authorization, audit logging and much more

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with infrastructure
• Have experience in AWS infrastructure management and automation tools like CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform
• Have experience working in remote environments
