Full Stack Software Engineer

Summary

Join Quantexa's Research and Development team and work on the core Contextual Decision Intelligence offering, the Quantexa Platform. You will be contributing to a platform that helps customers solve business problems in areas such as fraud, financial crime, and data management. The R&D department utilizes Scala, Angular, and other modern technologies to build scalable and highly performant systems. As a Fullstack Engineer, you will be involved in the entire engineering life cycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment. • Design, build, and deliver high-quality, well-engineered solutions to complex problems
• Build a rich, data-driven application
• Take a big picture approach to solving problems, taking care to ensure that the solution works well within the wider system

Preferred Qualifications

• Ideally you will have experience as a Fullstack Engineer using Scala and Angular 2+, however, we are open to experience as a Fullstack Engineer using Java and other modern front-end frameworks
• Working across the entire software stack from the server‐side and batch processing components to the front‐end web development
• Working with Java and the JVM
• Using AI Development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor
• Having a keen eye for detail with regards to design and UX
• Knowledge working with any of the following technologies or libraries: Akka, Monix, Cats. Shapeless, Spring Boot, Elasticsearch, Gradle, Apache Spark, Hadoop, Docker, Kubernetes
