Full Stack Staff Software Engineer

Summary

Join Ordergroove's Ecom Platform Team as a Staff Software Engineer and play a key role in shaping core integrations and leading technical initiatives. You will lead feature development, write efficient code, collaborate with partners and internal teams, design scalable integrations with leading e-commerce platforms, and mentor other engineers. This role requires 5-8 years of full-stack experience with a backend focus, expertise in Node.js and Python, and leadership experience. Requirements

• 5-8 years of full stack experience with focus on the backend development
• Proven expertise in Node/Js, Python
• Comfortable working with frontend technologies Like React/ NextJS
• Leadership experience, having led teams in the past and successfully rolled out end-to-end products
• Effective communicator, able to articulate complex ideas and discuss abstract concepts with ease
• Experience with databases and message queues in distributed systems
• Reliable team player that's ready to help others when needed

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of features and solutions that enhance the experience for Ordergroove’s partners and clients, enabling seamless collaboration and a frictionless integration journey
• Write high-impact, efficient code that aligns with our long-term strategy of scaling new merchants, reducing time to launch, and driving operational efficiency
• Work closely with our partners and internal teams to understand their needs, provide technical leadership, and deliver solutions that align with business goals
• Design and build scalable, highly available integrations with leading e-commerce platforms, including Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, and others, ensuring robust and efficient data flow across systems
• Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement, while proactively taking the initiative on high-impact projects and driving technical excellence

Preferred Qualifications

• You are familiar with Google Gcloud, Kubernetes, and Serverless Deployments
• You have experience with one or more e-commerce products, high traffic SaaS products
• Experience in designing and building scalable integration solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity
• Experience working in fast-paced, mid-size startup environment
• Past experience of building Shopify Apps, Shopify Extensions etc
