Fullstack Developer

Summary

Join Encora as a Mid Fullstack Ruby, VueJS and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and continuously improve software development practices. This remote position is available in Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Bolivia. The role requires extensive software development experience with a focus on building scalable applications using Ruby on Rails and Vue.js.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications
• Professional/ Advanced English skills
• +3 years of experience
• Proven experience with Ruby on Rails, demonstrating ability to build and maintain scalable applications, implement complex business logic, and follow Rails best practices and conventions
• Strong proficiency in Vue.js, including state management, component architecture, and modern frontend development patterns
• Advanced PostgreSQL knowledge, including query optimization, database design, and performance tuning for high-traffic applications

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable features across the full stack, from database to user interface
• Collaborate with product and design teams to create intuitive user experiences
• Participate in technical design discussions and architecture planning

Preferred Qualifications

• Competencies: Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in Agile environments, including sprint planning and retrospectives
