Full-Stack Engineer/ Project Technical Lead, Remote - Portugal

Summary

The job is for a Full-Stack Engineer at EXUS AI Labs, an R&D department specializing in AI solutions. The role involves participating in innovative research projects, creating back-end solutions, and front-end UIs. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience and proficiency in specified technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• At least 3 years of working experience in full-stack web development
• Solid experience as a Software Engineer in back-end technologies: Python, Flask or Django or Fast, Microservices architecture, SQL/ NoSQL databases
• Solid experience as a Software Engineer in front-end technologies: React, CSS3, JavaScript (including ES6), HTML5, TypeScript, Front-end frameworks i.e. Tailwind CSS, Bulma, Bootstrap, etc
• Great familiarity in: Git, Docker
• Excellent knowledge of English language (both verbal & written)
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Team player, self-motivated, constantly seeking new knowledge

Responsibilities

• Project’s technical coordination: Planning of technical tasks, Coordination of project developers, Participation in meetings to get user requirements, Cooperation with project’s project manager
• Project’s Design, Testing & Implementation: Back-end: Transforming user requirements to system specifications, Designing the architecture of applications, Developing reusable and scalable services. Front-end: Identifying web-based user interactions, Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code, Developing and implementing user interface components, Building reusable components and front-end libraries, Testing and improving software’s functionality and performance, Documenting application changes and developing updates, Providing solutions to any technical-related issue during a project’s lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CSS preprocessors (i.e., Sass, LESS, etc.)
• Experience in design tools (i.e., Zeplin, Figma, etc.)
• Experience in technologies such as Webpack, Next, Redux, styled-components, or similar
• Ability to implement Responsive Web Design principles, utilizing mobile-first design
