Full-stack Software Engineer in Poland

Summary

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with front-end and back-end web technologies (e.g. JEE, Node.js, React, Vue.js)
• Willingness to learn and use multiple technologies (frontend and backend)
• Truly engineering approach to solving problems. Good theoretical foundations of computer science (e.g. algorithms and computational complexity, OOP) are super practical in the ever-changing landscape of technologies
• Good understanding of modern Cloud architectures, and practical experience implementing them in GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Strong architectural understanding of web applications, including performance, quality, and security aspects
• Good grasp of SQL and relational databases
• Command of English at level B2 or higher

• Be a part of a self-organizing, cross-functional product team
• Work on our most successful products and contribute to the decisions about the future of our products and Appfire
• Follow the best engineering practices such as automated testing, code reviews, pair programming, and YBIYRI (you built it you run it)
• Promote simplicity as it is one of our core values
• Help other team members by applying your expertise and communication skills
• Be the change you seek - if you see that something can be improved, suggest how and make it happen (alone or by engaging your colleagues)!

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with modern JavaScript frontend frameworks and NoSQL DBs would be an advantage
