Summary
VacationRenter is a fast-growing vacation rental search engine founded in 2018 that recently surpassed $1 billion in gross bookings. They are seeking an entrepreneurial Full-Stack Engineer to help build out the future of vacation rental search, with preference for candidates based in San Francisco, CA or Austin, TX, but open to remote work.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Experience with Javascript, React, Node.js, and PostgresQL or roughly equivalent technologies
- Ability to communicate clearly and write clear documentation
Responsibilities
- Work closely with leadership, product, and engineering, to design, architect, and implement new features
- Contribute to all parts of the business where software is needed: backend, frontend, back office, data warehousing, and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience at a startup or travel company
- Experience with Google Cloud or an equivalent cloud services platform
