Functional Tester

Summary

Join TestPros, a growing IT support services company, as a Software Tester supporting the IRS. You will contribute to the modernization of tax processing systems by performing various testing services, including Systems Acceptability Testing (SAT), integration testing, performance testing, and test automation. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing with a focus on functional testing. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on functional testing
• Proven experience in functional testing, integration testing, and test automation
• Working knowledge of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
• Familiarity with Agile, test case design, and defect tracking
• Must be eligible to obtain a US security clearance
• IRS experience

Responsibilities

• Support IRS system acceptability testing (SAT) through execution of functional and integration tests
• Develop and execute test cases for IRS tax applications
• Conduct white-box, black-box, and regression testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with IRS testing methodologies (e.g., SAT, FIT) is a plus
• 5+ years functional testing experience
