Fundraising Development Intern

Summary

Join Prison Fellowship®, a transformative organization with over 40 years of experience, as a Development Summer Intern. This role offers valuable experience in nonprofit operations, focusing on grant administration, philanthropy initiatives, and estate planning. You will contribute to improving organizational processes and gain exposure to various aspects of nonprofit work. The internship is remote, approximately 8-10 weeks long, and pays $16-18/hour. Ideal candidates are pre-law students currently enrolled in college or graduate school. The position requires strong research, writing, and communication skills, along with proficiency in spreadsheets and basic web content management.

Requirements

• Completed at least 1 year at an accredited undergraduate college/university with a CGPA 3.0 or higher in majors that lead to careers in law, public policy, or nonprofit management
• Strong research, writing and communication skills
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic web content management

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions
• Team web page revamp
• Philanthropy Council plan development
• Grant administration review and redesign
• Estate and trust research
• Sharepoint data base review and revision

Preferred Qualifications

• Project management and data analysis experience
• Attention to detail and ability to organize information effectively
• Interest in nonprofit operations, philanthropy or law
