Join Rackspace Technology as a Lead Engineer (Cloud & DevOps) and assume a technical leadership role, leveraging your expertise in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. You will be a technical expert in multi-cloud operations, overseeing various aspects of cloud infrastructure and DevOps. Responsibilities

• Implement IaaS, PaaS, IaaC, & cloud native deployments for Operational & performance efficiency
• Provide Multi Cloud Operational Support: Demonstrate solid understanding & hands-on experience with GCP primary & Azure secondary
• Implement & optimize DevOps practices to enhance the development & deployment lifecycle. (Terraform, Ansible & Python)
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Google Cloud IAM & Azure AD & its integration with cloud-based services
• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Security Topology, including best practices for securing infrastructure & data. Drive efficiency, security, & collaboration within the offsite team
• Manage GKE, AKS, SRE & IT system administration (Linux & Window) & patching with a focus on optimizing performance & ensuring reliability
• Troubleshoot & support various Google services and APIGEE, including Confluent Kafka & Google API Services
• Deploy & provide support to Infra & Application Performance Management tools (Dynatrace), as well as firefighting production problems that are performance related
• Demonstrate familiarity with ITSM tool\Jira for Operations & project management & issue tracking

• Possess demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to mentor & guide team members
• Hold a Certification in relevant technologies
• Possess understanding of & hands-on experience with information security principles & practices to enhance overall system security
• Possess solid experience with Identity Provider (IDP) systems & their integration into DevOps workflows
• Possess experience in implementing Agile methodologies to streamline processes, plan & manage work, & CSI
• Demonstrate a proven ability to create & execute effective plans to meet operational project objectives & deadlines
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks & priorities efficiently

Benefits

• The anticipated starting pay range for Colorado is: $116,100 - $170,280
• The anticipated starting pay range for the states of Hawaii and New York (not including NYC) is: $123,600 - $181,280
• The anticipated starting pay range for California, New York City and Washington is: $135,300 - $198,440
• Variable compensation in the form of bonus, commissions, or other discretionary payments (based on eligibility)
