Summary

Join Datacom as the General Manager – Bids and Solutions and lead the presales efforts across the Infrastructure Products domain. Requirements

  • Understanding of sales opportunities and presales processes within this industry
  • Ability to research trends, competitors, and pricing structures
  • Strong grasp of sales methodologies, deal structuring, and customer engagement
  • Knowledge of cost models, pricing strategies, and financial implications of bids
  • Deep understanding of customer pain points, needs, and expectations
  • Experience leading bid teams and improving sales processes
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering winning bids
  • Working with sales, markets, and leadership to drive revenue growth
  • Driving efficiencies in the sales lifecycle through innovation

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the bridge between sales and IP for customer's needs
  • Provide an intake hub for IP presales requests and facilitate bids, proposals, commercials and pricing across IP
  • Support Market teams in customer sales discussions
  • Deliver presentations, demos and/or PoC’s
  • Oversea and manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring timely and high-quality responses to RFP’s, RFI’s and proposals in support of our Market teams
  • Track and measure sales performance to identify areas for improvement and focus
  • Implement initiatives across process, people and tooling to improve sale performance metrics
  • Recruit, build, and lead a high-performing team of presales specialists
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and encourage professional development within your team
