Requirements
- Possess a Master's Degree or higher (or Bachelorβs with additional experience) in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, or Environmental Science
- Have a minimum of 6 years of experience in designing and implementing complex architectures, with at least 8 years specializing in geospatial or enterprise systems
- Possess expertise in enterprise platforms like the ESRI Enterprise suite
- Have proven experience with CI/CD tools and practices to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of modern IT architecture and configuration management
- Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Be willing to undergo the government issued background investigation process
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design of complex enterprise systems, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and compliance with organizational policies
- Develop comprehensive system architecture documentation, including hardware specifications, design strategies, and configuration management plans
- Analyze client requirements, providing tailored, scalable solutions that align with both technical needs and organizational objectives
- Leverage modern technologies, such as the ESRI Enterprise platform, to enhance system capabilities and scalability
- Help driving the adoption of modern practices, such as Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), to streamline development and operational efficiency
- Contribute to business development efforts by writing, reviewing, and refining technical content for proposals
- Collaborate with capture teams to develop innovative and competitive solutions that meet client requirements
- Provide input on technical approaches, project schedules, and cost estimations to strengthen proposal submissions
- Ensure all solutions align with federal and agency-specific policies, including security, data governance, and operational standards
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, providing insights to improve organizational capabilities
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment of project objectives
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences
- Develop and deliver presentations or reports to support decision-making processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience with serverless architectures and cloud-native development
- Possess knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, infrastructure as code)
- Have experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence
