German Growth And Content Associate

Join Hallow, the No. 1 prayer app globally, as a bilingual German and English-speaking Growth and Content Associate. You will be a key member of the German content team, responsible for translating and managing content, acquiring and creating prayers, collaborating with guest contributors, and assisting with quality assurance. This remote, part-time role requires 2+ years of experience in social media campaigns, copywriting, or translation, fluency in German and English, and strong communication skills. Requirements

• Passion: First & foremost, we’re looking for someone excited about our mission
• Bilingual (German & English): You speak fluently or natively in both languages
• Experience: 2+ years of experience building, running social media campaigns, copywriting, and/or translating content
• Communication: You’re an expert communicator and conversationalist. Being able to communicate, negotiate, and build relationships is a must in German and English
• Technical Abilities: Experience with Google Apps (e.g. Google Docs and Google Sheets), computer savvy, and a general willingness to learn new tools!
• Grit & detail-oriented: We really care about what we’re doing & try to build as fast as we can. Since we’re guided meditation and competing with some large players in the market (Calm, Headspace), we have to stand out. Everything we do, say, send, or spend money on should be top-notch quality and set Hallow apart as the best

Responsibilities

• Be a critical part of the German content team, providing key support for German language translation and IP management, working with our proprietary tools to make sure our content is made available and optimized for users around the world
• Continue to build out a full version of Hallow in German
• Acquire, translate, and write prayers: This role requires the ability to research prayers and prayer traditions from around the world to ensure proper representation, accurately translate prayers from English to German, and write original prayers in German
• Work with German-speaking guest contributors: You will reach out to a variety of speakers, authors, theologians, religious, etc. to gather guest content such as prayer sessions and Bible Stories. At times, you may need to attend live recordings (whether in person or online)
• Be an integral part of the Content Team: As part of the Content Team, you’ll be asked to help out with various aspects of content, such as helping conduct QA (Quality Assurance) on sessions before they go on the app
• Work with the Growth and Product Teams: At times, you’ll work with the Growth team and provide input on ads, messaging, and emails
