Summary
Join our team as a GIS Analyst and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of GIS analytic processes. You will be responsible for developing and executing advanced queries and scripts, maintaining roadway centerline data, and utilizing GIS best practices. This role requires expertise in Esri Roads & Highways, linear referencing systems, and large relational databases. The position is remote and located in Raleigh, NC, with a duration of 12+ months.
Requirements
- Have advanced experience using Esri Roads & Highways (2 years)
- Have advanced experience working with linear referencing systems (2 years)
- Possess strong knowledge and understanding of GIS principals, theories, and practices (2 years)
- Have strong skills in development of analysis procedure, complex system integration, software configuration management, and business analysis (2 years)
- Have experience troubleshooting and providing customer support (2 years)
- Have experience working with large, relational databases (2 years)
- Have experience with integrating and implementing complex technology solutions (2 years)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement GIS analytic processes such as change detection and geoprocessing workflows
- Develop and execute advanced queries or scripts
- Maintain roadway centerline and linear referenced data using Esri Roads & Highways
- Utilize GIS and organizational best practices to maintain and manage GIS layers
- Develop and document workflows, standards, and best practices
- Develop and execute test plans for all levels of system testing
- Schedule meetings and coordinate project deliverables
- Develop instructions for application support
