Summary

Join Ardent as a Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) Developer to contribute to cutting-edge geospatial solutions for federal government contracts. As a member of our innovative team, you'll leverage your expertise in GIS development to design and implement geospatial applications, ensuring compatibility with government project requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Engineering, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in application development, with at least five (5) years in GIS application development
  • Proven experience in documenting code and performing version control using industry-standard tools

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy geospatial applications and capabilities to meet business and mission requirements
  • Create and maintain web-based GIS applications, ensuring optimal user experience and performance
  • Maintain and create geospatial application program interfaces (APIs), including ESRI's ArcGIS Server APIs (JavaScript, REST, and Python)
  • Enhance APIs to facilitate seamless data access and integration
  • Utilize multiple JavaScript libraries, including Dojo, jQuery, Leaflet, etc., to enhance geospatial functionality
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in geospatial technology and libraries
  • Leverage your knowledge of past and current versions of geospatial software programs, including ESRI's ArcGIS products (ArcGIS Server, etc.)
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the ESRI Enterprise platform
