Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is required
- 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, preferably in a global organization
- Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory compliance requirements
- Proven experience managing financial audits, revenue recognition, tax compliance, and payroll across multiple regions
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience leading global teams across multiple time zones
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and cultures
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the global accounting organization, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial close and reporting processes across North America, EMEA, and APAC
- Lead and coordinate external audits, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.)
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Oversee global revenue recognition processes, ensuring adherence to applicable accounting standards and company policies
- Manage international tax compliance, including corporate tax, VAT/GST, and transfer pricing, while collaborating with external tax advisors
- Supervise global payroll operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multiple jurisdictions
- Provide strategic financial leadership and support to senior management, offering insights on financial performance, risks, and opportunities
- Optimize financial systems, processes, and reporting tools, leveraging technology for automation and efficiency
- Lead and mentor a global accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, Sales, Delivery, and Operations, to support business objectives
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with financial systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is a preferred but not required
