The position requires a Bachelor's degree (MBA is a plus), 5-8 years of experience in data analysis or a related field, proficiency in SQL, PowerBI, and Looker, experience with Google BigQuery, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and experience working with tech teams. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree preferred; MBA is a plus
- 5β8 years of demonstrated experience in data analysis, data science, business intelligence, or a related field, preferably within a SaaS or cybersecurity company
- Proficiency in SQL, PowerBI, and Looker
- Experience working with Google BigQuery
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of providing strategic insights and driving business value through data
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with tech teams to drive detailed technical work
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environment
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices
Responsibilities
- Establish strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand their goals and challenges
- Collaborate with business teams including product, customer success, and marketing to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights
- Work with SQL and Google BigQuery to extract, manipulate, and analyze data
- Build and maintain dashboards using PowerBI and Looker to visualize key metrics and trends
- Develop and implement MDM processes and best practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with tech teams to drive detailed technical work
- Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis to support business growth and efficiency
- Apply data science techniques to solve complex business problems and uncover opportunities
- Be hands on building the data analytics function from the ground up starting as an individual contributor
