Requirements

• Successfully completed training as a specialist in IT systems integration with several years of professional experience
• Several years of experience in the administration of Active Directory infrastructures
• Sound knowledge of Windows server operating systems as well as Active Directory, DNS, and related technologies
• Distinct service orientation, open communication, and a proactive work style
• Creativity in problem-solving and high analytical thinking ability
• Process-oriented thinking and teamwork
• Negotiable German and good English skills
• Occasional travel within the framework of projects

Responsibilities

• Operate and further develop the Active Directory (AGDLP, Tiering, PKI)
• Operate, maintain, and optimize the Windows server landscape including domain controllers, DNS, and related services
• Ensure system availability, performance, and security
• Perform error analyses and troubleshooting
• Implement new technologies and continuously improve existing IT processes
• Perform system updates, patches, and security measures
• Plan and implement IT projects within the area of responsibility
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Manage external service providers and partners
• Support and sparring for local IT colleagues in technical and strategic questions

Preferred Qualifications

• Plan, administer, and monitor secure, scalable, and reliable central and decentralized hybrid cloud infrastructures with VMware and Nutanix
• Manage and optimize storage and database solutions
• Experience with VMware or Nutanix and Veeam including storage solutions (e.g., Object Storage S3)
• Experience in leading IT projects including the management of external service providers
