Summary
Join Gerresheimer's global IT team and contribute to the future of their hybrid-cloud infrastructure. The team supports over 40 production sites worldwide, focusing on transforming to a high-performance hybrid-cloud environment. This role involves operating and developing Active Directory, managing the Windows server landscape, ensuring system availability and security, and troubleshooting issues. You will also be involved in implementing new technologies, improving IT processes, and collaborating with external vendors. The position requires a strong background in IT administration and project management. Requirements
- Successfully completed training as a specialist in IT systems integration with several years of professional experience
- Several years of experience in the administration of Active Directory infrastructures
- Sound knowledge of Windows server operating systems as well as Active Directory, DNS, and related technologies
- Distinct service orientation, open communication, and a proactive work style
- Creativity in problem-solving and high analytical thinking ability
- Process-oriented thinking and teamwork
- Negotiable German and good English skills
- Occasional travel within the framework of projects
Responsibilities
- Operate and further develop the Active Directory (AGDLP, Tiering, PKI)
- Operate, maintain, and optimize the Windows server landscape including domain controllers, DNS, and related services
- Ensure system availability, performance, and security
- Perform error analyses and troubleshooting
- Implement new technologies and continuously improve existing IT processes
- Perform system updates, patches, and security measures
- Plan and implement IT projects within the area of responsibility
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Manage external service providers and partners
- Support and sparring for local IT colleagues in technical and strategic questions
Preferred Qualifications
- Plan, administer, and monitor secure, scalable, and reliable central and decentralized hybrid cloud infrastructures with VMware and Nutanix
- Manage and optimize storage and database solutions
- Experience with VMware or Nutanix and Veeam including storage solutions (e.g., Object Storage S3)
- Experience in leading IT projects including the management of external service providers
