Requirements

  • Proven track record of successful brand building and P&L management in competitive categories; growing sales, margin, share and equity
  • Experience on a variety of brands & categories across European markets, ideally in both in-market and above-country marketing roles
  • Ability to strongly contribute to brand planning – at a local and global level
  • Experience in developing and executing new growth-driving creative ideas and initiatives, derived from powerful data-driven insight
  • Leadership capability in the development and delivery of successful integrated digital campaigns in collaboration with external agencies, as part of broader connections plans and based on performance tracking
  • Demonstrated capability creating fit-for purpose brand programmes and implementing them consistently across touchpoints and markets
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute winning innovation and new price/pack/channel range solutions, including flawless delivery of global launches
  • Highly skilled in delivering brand performance and leading complex cross-functional initiatives with successful outcomes, within a remote matrix organisation
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in P&L leadership/budget management, pricing and COGs strategy development
  • Highly analytical with a data-driven, performance approach

Responsibilities

  • Build the global 1-3 year brand growth plan and drive the performance in line with this plan, in collaboration with the markets
  • Create the global brand growth model, producing all hero brand assets and guidelines
  • Strong articulation of a winning brand purpose, with differentiated claims and a strong visual brand language
  • A winning digital-first communications plan, covering always-on and campaign needs. Including an ecosystem of hero content (primarily for digital channels) to win the moments that matter on the path to purchase
  • Digital-first media guidelines for local execution
  • Innovation pipeline, in line with the required rate and pace to win in the market. Including new products, line extensions, upgrades and price/pack/channel solutions to maximise physical availability, especially in E-Commerce
  • Executional guidelines, including pricing and promo guidelines
  • Partner with the brand’s design markets to design and deploy a winning, insight-driven and highly competitive programme, also providing thought-leadership on winning local amplification and activation plans, especially in digital
  • Partner with other internal functions and external agencies to lead creation and delivery of best in class plans, programmes, initiatives and activities, delivered fast to win in the market
  • Analyse global and local brand performance, identifying drivers (to double-down on,) drainers (to fix,) quickly driving corrective action. Share best practice across markets
  • Identify opportunities and deliver appropriate Geo-Expansion for the brand
