Golang Developer

Summary

Join Encora as a Senior Golang Developer and contribute to the development, troubleshooting, and debugging of complex issues within large-scale projects. This remote position requires 8+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years of hands-on Golang experience. You will collaborate with stakeholders, participate in daily scrums, and resolve JIRA tickets. Proficiency in Golang, REST APIs, and containerization tools is essential. The ideal candidate possesses strong problem-solving and communication skills and familiarity with the full SDLC, including live rollouts. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline is preferred
• 8+ years in software or web development
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficiency in Golang, including advanced concepts and frameworks like Gofiber and Gorilla
• Experience in developing REST APIs
• Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker
• Strong experience with MSSQL and basic cloud exposure to platforms like Azure or AWS
• Familiarity with the full SDLC, including participation in large-scale live rollouts

Responsibilities

• Understand customer/product requirements and translate them into working code
• Participate in daily scrum calls to assign, review, and deliver work products and tasks
• Analyze and resolve JIRA tickets raised by customers or support teams, performing root cause analysis (RCA) and issue resolution within SLA timelines
• Collaborate with BAs, architects, and onsite/offshore teams to deliver solutions aligned with feature requirements
• Develop new features and debug/fix bugs in close coordination with the development team
• Provide on-call support on a rotational basis, primarily during business hours

Financial/lending platform knowledge is a plus
