Summary

Join Cybervance, an equal opportunity employer, as a Sales Administrator supporting the sales and proposal team. You will be the primary subject matter expert on U.S. government acquisition processes, focusing on DoD, State Department, and CISA contracts. Lead and coordinate the development of compliant RFP/RFQ responses, providing detailed analysis of solicitations and advising on contract structure and pricing. You will draft technical volumes and liaise with contracting officers. Maintain proposal templates and support internal systems. Contribute to strategic growth targeting federal cyber training contracts. This contract position requires 10+ years of experience managing or awarding federal contracts, a deep understanding of FAR/DFARS, and strong writing skills. A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's is preferred.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience managing or awarding federal contracts (Experience with the DoD and Department of State is required)
  • Deep understanding of the FAR, DFARS, and federal procurement policy
  • Demonstrated success in developing award-winning proposals
  • Strong writing, editing, and document management skills
  • Ability to interpret complex solicitations and ensure compliance under tight deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and proposal management tools (e.g., GovWin, SAM.gov, etc.)
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, public administration, cybersecurity, or a related field (Masterโ€™s preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) on U.S. government acquisition processes, focusing on DoD, State Department, and CISA contracts
  • Lead and coordinate the development of compliant, compelling, and timely RFP/RFQ responses
  • Provide detailed analysis of solicitations, ensuring complete understanding of submission requirements
  • Advise the sales and business development teams on contract structure, pricing strategies, and proposal compliance
  • Draft technical volumes, past performance sections, and pricing narratives in collaboration with SMEs and sales
  • Liaise with contracting officers and acquisition personnel to clarify RFP requirements and foster relationships
  • Stay current on federal acquisition trends and advise the team on policy or regulatory changes
  • Maintain a repository of proposal templates, boilerplate content, and approved past submissions
  • Support internal capture planning and opportunity tracking systems
  • Contribute to strategic growth initiatives targeting federal cyber training contracts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous GS-1102 series experience or Contracting Officer/Contract Specialist roles
  • Experience supporting contracts in cyber training, digital forensics, or national security-related domains
  • Familiarity with CISA acquisition channels and requirements
  • Prior security clearance or eligibility for reactivation
