Summary

Join the Data and Analytics team at ServiceNow as a product leader, shaping the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data and analytics applications. Lead the execution of these applications across various functional domains within organizations. Collaborate with engineering, design, research, and QE teams to ensure world-class product development. Gather customer insights and feedback to inform development and enhance user satisfaction. Evangelize the business value of your products both internally and externally. Assume leadership responsibilities as an accountable owner, guiding projects through development and delivering high-quality products. Integrate usability studies and market analysis into product requirements. Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, translating complex problems into easily understood requirements and solutions.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of software product management experience with most of that experience in building Data and Analytics products
  • Experience in a product leadership role in mid to large size product businesses
  • Experience in constructing a business case for product investments, pitching the case to internal executives and stakeholders to get buy in
  • Strong and in-depth understanding of high value business and product opportunities across multiple industries and functional domains and the value of data and analytic apps for those industries and domains
  • Experience in conceiving of and launching new products and driving product-market fit and revenue growth for early-stage products
  • Strong technical understanding of common data and analytics constructs such as semantic models, metrics and KPIs and action frameworks
  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
  • Navigate, manage and align a matrixed organization that involves internal and external data needs
  • Strong prioritization skills and the discipline to focus on high impact activities
  • Experience defining and capturing product requirements and transforming them into a product roadmap
  • Deep curiosity about customer needs and a track record in building customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
  • Ability to serve as a team lead, and coach employees at lower levels

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, product definition, roadmap, execution, and overall success of Data and Analytics focused apps across different functional domains
  • Work with the D&A leadership team to identify product opportunities, target markets and help create a business case for targeted product investments
  • Build collaborative relationships with leaders in sister functions - Engineering, Design, Research, QE and others to drive world class planning and execution of our product vision
  • Work with Engineering, Design, QE for defining outcomes that drive release planning, epic/story creation to streamline execution, and delivering the outcomes that exceed the expectations of our customers
  • Engage with customers and end users to gather insights and feedback, to inform development of new capabilities and enhancements
  • Evangelize the business value to customers and to ServiceNow of the products that you own both internally within ServiceNow and externally to customers and partners
  • Assume leadership responsibilities as an accountable owner who is committed to the outcome regardless of the role or organizational boundaries
  • Work with multiple teams to guide projects through development and bring high-quality products to life
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
  • Communicate complex problems into easily understood requirements and provide solutions
  • Communicate effectively with a clear understanding of the needs of different audiences

Preferred Qualifications

Prior knowledge of ServiceNow platform or apps in a plus
