Summary

Join YouGov's Product Public Platform team as a Graduate, contributing to a major strategic initiative. This entry-level role involves assisting senior team members, enhancing existing services, and learning about product management. Requirements

  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies (coursework or personal projects)
  • Basic understanding of content publishing and SEO concepts
  • Keen interest in data-driven decision making and market research
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of project management tools (e.g., JIRA)
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Slack, Zoom etc
  • Enthusiastic team player with a willingness to learn and contribute
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong curiosity and desire to understand user needs and product development
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of YouGov's products, user groups, and strategic direction by shadowing internal experts and participating in customer research activities
  • Shadow product managers to understand the process of identifying and prioritizing work within YouGov's product ecosystem
  • Support the creation of user stories, success criteria, and UAT criteria under the guidance of senior team members
  • Gain insight into the prioritization process, balancing customer value, business value, and technical considerations
  • Support the squad of engineers and designers in their daily activities, learning about Agile methodologies and product development processes
  • Participate in team meetings, learning to articulate ideas clearly and concisely
