Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree
  • 0-2 years of professional work experience
  • Ability to learn processes and databases quickly
  • Proficiency in using Excel/Google Sheets
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A willingness and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to work well both independently as well as collaboratively
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and adapt quickly as needed

Responsibilities

  • Create and edit applications, reports, and agreements within Fluxx
  • Review and test applications, reports, and agreements in Fluxx to ensure they are built appropriately
  • Enter information into Fluxx, including dates, award information, payments, reports, etc
  • Run reports in Fluxx to export information as needed for decision-making or reporting
  • Input data from Fluxx into tracking spreadsheets to inform decision-making and reporting to leadership
  • Coordinate with the Fluxx Administrator throughout the grant process
  • Respond to grant applicant questions promptly
  • Follow-up with grant applicants when information is missing from applications/reports or when deliverables are overdue
  • Support the Strategic Grants Manager with a specific portfolio of grants
  • Manage the Google Drive folder with materials from each grant round
  • Review documents and reports for completion and accuracy
  • Draft communications for grant launch and award emails
  • Create and maintain relevant grant materials on Hillelโ€™s intranet
  • Schedule meetings and other tasks as needed
