Join Yazdani Studio of CannonDesign as an intern and contribute to the design process of interactive exhibition pieces. You will participate in all phases of design, from concept to production, utilizing software like Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, SketchUp, and Grasshopper. Responsibilities include producing graphics, conducting research, developing user interfaces, and assisting with fabrication documentation. The internship requires a background in art and design, proficiency in specific software, and strong communication and collaboration skills. Requirements
- Must be enrolled in and working toward a Bachelor or master's in Interactive Media Arts, Graphic Design or related design discipline by hire date
- Strong background in art and design with previous related student internship experience highly valued
- Must demonstrate skill and interest in 3-dimensional design, storytelling, exhibition design and environments
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, AutoCAD and Sketchup
- Strong design orientation, communication skills, the ability to collaborate in a team environment and attention to detail are essential
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design process through exhibit research and narrative development to help create interactive exhibition pieces
- Involvementβ―in all phases of the design process, from conceptual development through artwork production
- Produce graphics materials and images for client presentations
- Assist in exhibition content research
- Develop user interface for exhibition resources
- Participate in recommendations for concept design, art direction, and production for various exhibits
- Assist in the production of fabrication documentation
- Interact with design team leadership and team members
- Perform other duties as required
- Work with vendors/fabricators
