Summary
Join Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, as a Graphic Designer and contribute to the creation of clinical educational materials and a new design language for AMI offerings. This remote position involves collaborating with writers, web developers, and other creatives to develop engaging content for live and virtual training programs, social media, websites, and more. You will conceptualize and execute materials adhering to brand standards and FDA regulations, presenting designs to large teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. The role requires strong design skills, experience in a medical or beauty-related field, and proficiency in various design software. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- BA degree in design, advertising or communications preferred
- Experience of 5+ years in beauty/medical related field, developing, producing and delivering creative output as a central role in an advertising agency, editorial, or an in-house creative group
- Must be comfortable in a medical environment and observing medical aesthetic procedures
- Technical skills: Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat; MS Word, PowerPoint, and/or Keynote
- Experience with project management tools such as Workfront
- 5+ years of experience in a creative, team oriented and deadline driven environment developing print and digital materials with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A high degree of initiative with a collaborative, solutions oriented and innovative approach to every assignment. Adaptable and reliable, able to process and respond to feedback quickly and effectively
- Portfolio: Must provide work samples to be considered
- Able to work overtime when needed
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with writers and creative manager to visualize complex data
- Partner with web developers and video editors to create interactive materials
- Work with stakeholders to brainstorm, mock-up, plan, and execute projects
- Conceptualize and execute materials that meet brand standards
- Advocate for better design, ensuring consistent and cohesive design standard, across channels
- Compose PowerPoint presentations for AMI training programs. Create original graphics, illustrations, infographics, animations, images, and various assets for print and digital
- Build emails, forms, and surveys to help gather measurable data
- Strategic multi-tasking; producing great volumes of great work with quality and accuracy
- Develop creative solutions within the confines of FDA regulations
- Present to large teams and articulate design decisions clearly and effectively deliver ideas, give and receive feedback
- Set priorities with project managers to meet critical deadlines
- Collaborate with external vendors
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Desire to learn HTML, HTML5, CSS, XML, and other front-end development programming and markup languages
- Ability to travel up to 20%. Evenings, overnight, weekends, domestic is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Figma, SFMC eMail builder and platform
- Experience in pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry preferred
