Graphic Designer

Summary

You'll be responsible for crafting visually appealing and conversion-driven designs that align with the brand's identity. This role requires a strong understanding of marketing and sales principles, experience with design tools, and a passion for pets. Requirements

• A portfolio showcasing your creativity in various types of design work
• Marketing/sales experience or provable knowledge
• An understanding of conversion-focused design
• Product image optimization skills (with or without mockups)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Keen attention to detail and good time management skills
• An ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized and focused
• The ability to work from briefs but also to take the initiative where necessary
• A positive, friendly, and empathetic attitude, reflecting our company’s commitment to our values
• Familiarity with working autonomously and managing your own time independently and effectively
• Being open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism and improving on it
• Must be available and responsive during our office hours
• Must be able to meet deadlines and provide work of a consistently high standard

Responsibilities

• Create designs that balance both attractiveness and conversion elements
• Design for product pages, social, and packaging
• Follow BestLife4Pets brand guidelines for every design
• Be open to feedback and willing to learn
• Handling design edits where necessary
• Be proactive and come up with new ideas and concepts
• Try/learn new design technologies and solutions
• Communicate effectively with the team to align designs to the brand
• Potentially creating and editing short-form animated YouTube videos for the brand

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a designer for an e-commerce business or agency (we’d still love to hear from you if you’re super creative but have less experience!)
• Experience working with project management tools (Slack, ClickUp)
• Experience with Amazon product listings
• Video/animation creation/editing experience is highly beneficial
• Any experience in the pet health industry will count in your favor
• A passion for pets and making a positive difference
