Summary

A dynamic cannabis vape brand is seeking a creative and detail-oriented graphic designer to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for developing marketing materials, maintaining visual identity guidelines, and managing multiple projects. A bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field, 3 years of experience in graphic design, proficiency with industry-standard design software, excellent communication skills, strong time management skills, and a passion for graphic design are required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or a related field
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovative design skills, supported by a robust portfolio showcasing professional graphic design work
  • Minimum of 3 years in graphic design, ideally within a creative agency or similar environment
  • Proficient with industry-standard design software such as Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively
  • Strong time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop a wide array of materials
  • Translate strategic directives into visually compelling designs that adhere to the brand's established identity and guidelines
  • Generate original concepts by hand or through design software, ensuring optimal use of color, typography, imagery, and layout principles
  • Lead the design and uploading process for all project materials, utilizing content management best practices to ensure seamless execution
  • Apply industry insights and market trends to create and execute designs that resonate with target audiences
  • Independently manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines and budgetary requirements while maintaining high standards of creativity and quality
  • Uphold and reinforce visual identity guidelines across all touchpoints, proactively identifying and addressing any inconsistencies
  • Update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography, and video assets to streamline workflow and ensure accessibility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Canva and content management systems is advantageous
  • Desire for continuous learning and skill development to stay current with design trends and techniques
