Summary

The job is for a strategic product leader to oversee the Education product experience at Brightwheel, a fully remote company in the early education market. Requirements

  • 7 + years of product management experience
  • Proven experience overseeing a large, business-critical product area with multiple groups and/or complex, consumer-facing products
  • Strong technical and business acumen, with experience operating at a leadership level
  • Previous experience hiring and managing a high-performance team of Product Managers
  • Deep user empathy and experience bringing together user research, insights & data
  • Proven ability to break down hard, ambiguous problems and translate them into clear, focused solutions
  • A strong track record of scoping, launching, and growing high-impact products
  • Demonstrated ability to roll up your sleeves (no task too big or too small!) and move quickly to achieve outcomes
  • Strong team player: support + collaborate with ease across engineering, design, and other functions

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding and empathy for admin, teacher, and parent customers
  • Define measurable objectives and key results that will give the team focus
  • Create and maintain a prioritized pipeline of opportunities
  • Lead product area with an outcome-oriented approach
  • Partner closely with cross-functional colleagues throughout the product development process
  • Leverage data and analysis to uncover new problems and identify opportunities to improve existing products
