Growth Marketing Intern

Summary

Join GoodParty.org as a Growth Marketing Intern for a remote, full-time paid position this summer and fall. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Growth and marketing team, supporting organic growth efforts and contributing to user acquisition and product growth. This role offers exposure to various aspects of an early-stage startup, including mentorship opportunities with senior leadership. The internship involves a flexible schedule, with 35-40 hours/week in the summer and 10-20 hours/week in the fall. GoodParty.org is a Public Benefit Corporation focused on empowering Independents in politics, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a meaningful mission.

Requirements

• Be a student in or recent graduate of an undergraduate or graduate program in marketing, business, communications, humanities, or related field OR have experience working at a startup
• Have the grit to push through and make the impossible possible; thrive working at the startup speed that our mission demands
• Love experimenting with and refining things to get the best possible result
• Have experience gathering, analyzing, and making decisions based on data
• Actively use AI tools to make your work more efficient and higher quality
• Be a clever, engaging writer
• Pay attention to advertising around you and know what imagery, language, and offers are more appealing than others
• Be able to work independently and handle multiple work streams in a remote setting; be able to pivot and re-prioritize at a moment’s notice
• Be willing to learn and desire mentorship

Responsibilities

• Implement various growth marketing tactics using data-driven insights
• Learn how to run digital advertising and contribute to campaigns
• Utilize AI to draft marketing emails and copy for use across our channels
• Measure engagement on social media platforms and other marketing platforms
• Research and maintain awareness of current social media trends
• Wear many hats and get exposure to various disciplines (e.g., mobilization, politics, product development) as part of an early-stage tech start-up

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience in advertising & marketing
• Have experience in email marketing or marketing automation
• Have experience with HubSpot
• Have experience with SEO or copywriting
• Have startup or entrepreneurship experience
• Have experience with AI tools
