Gtm FP&A Senior Analyst

Summary

Join Wiz, a rapidly growing cloud security company, as a GTM FP&A Senior Analyst. You will be responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis to support decision-making. Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial information, identify trends, and improve processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling and Excel, and excellent communication skills. Experience in finance or accounting is preferred but not required. The position is open to candidates in the Eastern and Central Time Zones, with a preference for NYC.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience plus Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data
• Proficiency in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, and other analytical tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly and concisely
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering data, preparing models, and assisting in the development of financial plans
• Prepare regular financial reports, highlight key insights, and provide recommendations to the business
• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial results against budgeted and forecasted figures, explaining key drivers of variance
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to various departments and management as required
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and enhance reporting accuracy
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Operations, and Marketing, to gather data and insights for financial analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship or work experience in finance or accounting
• Knowledge of financial systems and ERP software
