Head of Communications

Summary

Join our small, high-impact team in Europe to lead communications for Southern Europe, covering France, Italy, and Spain.

Requirements

• 12+ years of professional PR and Media Relations experience
• Proven success in building relationships and collaborating with media, commentators, creators executives, partners, and other stakeholders
• Experience in corporate, b2b, technology, and consumer communications - across traditional media and online platforms, knowledge of AI
• Proven experience of supporting and briefing executives (local and from the US)
• Experience working in international roles for global companies
• Experience managing agency partners

Responsibilities

• Develop communications plans for Southern Europe that support business needs and manage day-to-day execution
• Proactively identify and tell stories that show the benefits of OpenAIs technologies in Southern Europe and build trust in our company
• Forge deep relationships with media and handle enquiries on a number of issues
• Identify public speaking and media opportunities and prepare and brief spokespeople
• Be a core member of the French office team, providing strategic counsel and support
• Brief and prepare executives in France and from the US
