Summary

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar position in the company that moved through the scale-up stage

  • Experience in the Retail industry
  • Worked on tabular and/or Time Series problems
  • Knowledge of the current state of MLOps. Applied the MLOps principles on their work
  • Experience with Python stack for ML

Responsibilities

  • Own the Competera’s ML Strategy
  • Ensure ML Strategy is aligned with Technology, Company and Product Strategies
  • Own ML OKRs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and top management on a regular basis
  • Participate in regular company meetings as a speaker
  • Communication with customers and their DS/ML teams
  • Decide whether DS/ML/DA expertise is needed in the teams and be responsible for hirings
  • Mentorship and management of Senior and Lead DS and ML engineers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Causal Inference problems
  • Experience with Probabilistic Programming
  • Experience with optimization problems (marketing spends optimization, price optimization, budgets allocation, etc.)
  • Development of XAI (eXplainable AI) in sensitive industries (finance, trading, medicine, insurance, aerospace industry, etc.)
  • Experience with entities matching (or deduplication) problems
  • Knowledge of System Design best practices and approaches for complex systems
  • Knowledge of solutions and cloud architecture for DS and ML in public clouds
