Requirements

• 12+ years of professional experience
• 8+ years of experience leading distributed engineering teams
• Leader of leaders: Develops, hires, and retains high-performing leadership teams
• Start-to-Finish Ownership: Acts with 100% responsibility for their outcomes as well as the outcomes of the company
• Bias for action: Speed matters. Takes rapid and decisive steps forward, even in the face of uncertainty, recognizing action is the catalyst for progress and growth
• Async Communicator. Communicates effectively across various mediums (especially Slack, notion, and email). Can produce and consume detailed written materials as needed without sacrificing speed
• Cares deeply, challenges directly: Discusses and debates ideas openly. Focuses on the customer and business ‘so what’ and challenges stakeholders to take impactful action
• Delivers remarkable quality at scale: Leads organizations to deliver remarkable quality experiences to millions of customers
• Change Agent: Evolves organizational structure, processes, and culture from 50 to 100+; experience with globally distributed engineering teams
• Technology Strategist: Oversees complex technical deployments in mission-critical environments

• Build technology to drive remarkable customer-facing experiences at all levels
• Keep a high pace of innovation and delivery
• Manage scope, timeline, and budget to support the team's mission
• Deliver consistently high performance and reliability to our customers
• Build and lead a high-performing Engineering organization
• Inspire our team of world-class technologists to do the best work of their careers
• Hire, coach, and retain a diverse, distributed, and talented team
• Lead the organization with coaching, prioritization, clear communication, and modeling Superhuman values
