Summary

The job is for a Legal Advisor role in Trendyol International's GULF region office, focusing on KSA law. The role involves providing legal guidance to the company, coordinating with external lawyers, ensuring compliance with legislation, drafting and reviewing legal documents, following up on new legislation changes, assessing and managing legal risks, and providing insights on regulatory authorities' approaches in the region.

Requirements

• Experience in e-commerce law in KSA and wider GCC region
• In-depth knowledge and experience with e-commerce law, contractual law, law of obligations, commercial law, advertising law, payment regulations, consumer law, IP law, data protection in KSA law

Responsibilities

• Providing legal guidance to company concerning the GULF region, with a special emphasis on KSA law
• Advising business units on products and services
• Coordinating with external lawyers and legal advisors for collaboration to gather legal points of view from KSA and GCC countries (Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain)
• Ensuring that our company's operations comply with legislation and regulatory requirements
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including business contracts, licenses, supplier agreements, and other platform documentation
• Following up new legislation changes that may be related to group company's best interest
• Assessing and managing legal risks associated with our operations
