Requirements

  • Exceptional written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, including executive leadership
  • 5–8 years of experience in Product Management for software products within technology-focused businesses, ideally in B2B enterprise SaaS
  • Demonstrated ability to define and prioritize a product roadmap, balancing market demands with development capabilities to ensure impactful delivery
  • Comfortable driving a “design-first” approach, emphasizing seamless, intuitive, and user-friendly product experiences
  • Strong understanding of the technical and business impacts of product decisions, with the ability to integrate these insights into actionable strategies
  • Comprehensive knowledge of how high-output software development teams operate, with a clear vision of the roles and responsibilities within an engineering organization
  • Skilled at coordinating product development efforts with engineering teams, defining requirements, resolving conflicts, and aligning priorities to business objectives
  • Extensive experience collecting input from internal stakeholders, external users, go-to-market teams, and the broader market, and translating these insights into actionable product requirements
  • A holistic view of how products and features interconnect to meet operational goals. Able to identify foundational product strategy challenges and commit to long-term solutions for team and company growth
  • A self-motivated, execution-oriented leader with a bias toward action, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to collaborate across design, operations, engineering, user research, and business functions, fostering alignment and driving successful outcomes
  • Experience mentoring and coaching product managers to refine their skills in requirement gathering, user story writing, and product strategy

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a diverse, cross-cultural team of product managers, designers, and developers
  • Foster collaboration between teams to ensure alignment around product strategy and user experience design
  • Nurture a product-focused culture within the organization, integrating design thinking principles into product development
  • Define, assess, and communicate a clear product strategy that aligns with Finalis’ strategic vision and objectives
  • Translate competitive market insights and user needs into a well-articulated product roadmap
  • Distinguish between genuine user needs and stated wishes to drive impactful product decisions
  • Understand the costs and commercial impacts of competing product priorities to make informed trade-offs
  • Oversee the product development process to ensure timely execution of the product roadmap
  • Collaborate with the Design/UX team to gather and understand internal and external user needs, translating them into valuable product solutions
  • Conduct thorough competitor analysis and market research to identify opportunities and inform product direction
  • Refine and articulate a cohesive vision and strategy across the product suite, ensuring user-centric outcomes
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance value for both internal and external users
  • Work with stakeholders to transform the product roadmap into an agile development schedule, optimizing product development practices
  • Encourage exploration of innovative solutions to simplify design and achieve desired outcomes (e.g., “Is there an easier way to achieve the result?”)
  • Engage closely with the Engineering team to align on the technical approach and timing for achieving the long-term product roadmap
  • Balance effort/return product trade-offs and manage project execution within reasonable timelines
  • Establish and monitor metrics to evaluate the product’s performance throughout its lifecycle
  • Advance data-driven decisions and assess areas for improvement
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders to optimize the impact of product launches on business needs
  • Coordinate product launch activities such as PR announcements
  • Understand trends in the fintech and IB-fintech verticals that impact the product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous investment banking or finance experience : Experience with financial services
  • Relevant domain spaces : Prior experience with fintech, marketplaces, insurance, workflow optimization, and other products at the intersection of user experience & operations management
  • Background in Computer Science, Math and Statistics, Operations Research or a related technical discipline
