Summary
Join Bainbridge as the Head of Sales and lead a team of sales professionals in securing strategic acquisition opportunities for private equity clients. You will build upon existing systems, implement performance processes, and drive outcomes through coaching and oversight. This role also involves providing light supervision and alignment for supporting teams to ensure smooth revenue generation. The position offers a competitive base salary ($75,000-$80,000) plus a generous performance-based bonus plan ($125,000-$150,000+). It's a remote position requiring a dedicated home office and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial services, M&A, or consultative financial services, along with proven sales leadership experience.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree from accredited college or university in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least two years in a team leadership or managerial role
- Solid track record of coaching and developing early-to mid-career sales talent
- Strong command of metrics, forecasting, CRM tools, and performance accountability
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a clear and composed leadership presence
- High level of professionalism, emotional intelligence, and sound judgment
- Able to foster trust, encourage team growth, and work cross-functionally with transparency and respect
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a growing financial services sales team
- Set and monitor team goals, KPIβs, and performance benchmarks aligned with company growth targets
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews, training sessions, one-on-ones, and performance evaluations
- Lead and enhance existing sales training and development program, ensuring team members are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and support needed to succeed
- Improve CRM usage, prospecting, workflows, and reporting
- Participate in key prospect meetings as needed, to support closing efforts
- Help recruit, onboard, and ramp new sales team members
- Collaborate with leadership on departmental coordination
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and scalable systems
- Ensure adherence to compliance, confidentiality, and client, communication standards
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging sales tools
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA a plus, but not required
- Background in Financial Services, M&A, or B2b professional services, strongly preferred
- Experience with structured sales processes or professional sales training is a strong plus

- This position offers a base salary ranging from $75,000.00-$80,000.00 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
- In addition, the role is eligible for a generous performance-based bonus plan, with on-target earnings typically between $125,000.00 and $150,000.00+
