Summary

Re:Car is looking for a Head of Social Media to lead their social team and report directly to the Head of Marketing, Brand and Communications. The role involves driving interest, awareness, engagement and conversion for the brand across all owned channels.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience
  • Proven experience as a Head of Social Media or in a similar role, with a strong track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, algorithms, and trends
  • Experience with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and paid social advertising
  • Strong content creation and storytelling skills, with proficiency in multimedia content creation tools
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions
  • Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a social media team
  • Must love cars!

Responsibilities

  • Be an idea machine. Understand our brand ethos deeply and work with the marketing org to try out ideas and concepts that break through and build awareness
  • Work cross functionally to develop the social media calendar and manage production with partners
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with our overall brand and marketing objectives
  • Lead the creation of engaging and compelling social media content, including posts, videos, graphics, and other multimedia assets
  • Build and manage actionable reporting regularly. Tie reporting to business goals
  • Oversee social, community and influencer for the brand, as well as a team that manages each
  • Manage and grow the brand's social media communities, engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering meaningful conversations
  • Implement community management best practices and guidelines
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify brand reach and engagement
  • Collaborate with influencers on sponsored content, partnerships, and campaigns
