Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Healthcare recruitment preferrably for AU client
  • At least 2 years experience in managing a team
  • Strong understanding of NDIS compliance or workforce structures, or healthcare operations
  • Proven experience in workforce forecasting, capacity planning, and scheduling
  • Amenable to work in an open camera environment for better collaboration and engagement

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment including job design, interviews, hiring, and onboarding
  • Build talent pipelines aligned with workforce forecasts and NDIS compliance
  • Develop engaging onboarding programs to ensure successful new hire integration
  • Design efficient rosters that optimise shift coverage, employee availability, and client needs
  • Work closely with department heads to avoid under- or over-staffing
  • Assess current and projected workload capacity and recommend shift or hiring adjustments
  • Analyse historical data and business trends to forecast short- and long-term staffing needs
  • Develop workforce and resource planning models that balance permanent, part-time, and casual staff ratios
  • Ensure adherence to NDIS Worker Screening, Fair Work regulations, and all HR-related legal requirements
  • Review and update company policies to reflect legislative and operational changes
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits related to HR compliance
  • Align staffing models with growth forecasts and service delivery demands
  • Monitor and report on HR and workforce metrics (e.g. absenteeism, overtime, turnover, utilisation)
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on team performance, HR trends, and workforce optimisation
  • Ensure workforce plans align with departmental and organisational budgets
  • Identify labour cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality of care or compliance
  • Utilise HRIS and workforce planning software to manage rosters, planning, and employee data
  • Maintain integrity and accuracy in all HR databases, platforms, and digital records
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team on all people-related matters
  • Mentor junior HR staff and assist in building a future HR team to support organisational scale up
  • Lead cultural development initiatives and staff engagement programs
  • Manage performance appraisal systems, employee development plans, and conduct reviews
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
  • Foster a values-aligned and inclusive workplace culture
