Requirements

Responsibilities
- Lead the company's generator interconnection process and strategy in target markets (ERCOT and CAISO)
- Act as the company's primary interface with ISOs, RTOs, and utilities on all interconnection initiatives in target markets, building key relationships to ensure project success
- Attend and monitor transmission expansion planning meetings, providing regular updates to internal teams on reforms and new projects relevant to the companyβs portfolio
- Support the Origination, Development, Engineering, Construction, and Project Finance teams in strategic business development, evaluating potential interconnection options, and executing projects
- Conduct or collaborate with technical teams on power flow studies, including preparing interconnection requests and generator equivalent models necessary for the interconnection study process
- Oversee the submission of interconnection requests and manage the interconnection process from early-stage development to COD for utility-scale renewable energy projects
- Develop systems to track and communicate project status and options internally for various phases of the interconnection process
- Support LMP analysis with generation and transmission assumptions and review results
