Requirements

  • 3 years of HR compliance, HR legal, or HR regulatory experience, preferably in a multinational organization
  • Strong understanding of global labor laws, with a focus on North America (NAMER) labor regulations (U.S. and Canada)
  • Familiarity with AI regulations in HR and emerging legal frameworks related to AI-driven hiring and workforce management
  • Experience driving HR compliance initiatives and collaborating across global teams
  • Strong analytical, research, critical thinking and reporting skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize competing objectives
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, research, and analyze labor laws, employment regulations, and HR compliance requirements globally, ensuring company policies align with legal standards
  • Track regulatory changes affecting employment practices, workplace policies, federal contractor, and reporting requirements
  • Provide proactive insights and recommendations on HR compliance trends across multiple jurisdictions
  • Maintain and oversee internal compliance-related tools and references
  • Stay up to date with evolving AI regulations impacting human resources, including laws related to AI-driven hiring, workforce analytics, and bias mitigation
  • Collaborate with HR, legal, and technology teams to assess AI tools used in HR processes including hiring, talent management for compliance risks
  • Serve as the primary compliance liaison for Canada and the United States
  • Coordinate NAMER compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to federal, state/provincial, and local labor laws
  • Work with HR business partners, legal teams, and external advisors to address compliance challenges in NAMER
  • Support audits, investigations, and policy updates relevant to the North American workforce
  • Assist in developing, updating and maintaining HR policies, postings, and notices, ensuring alignment with global and regional labor regulations
  • Maintain a compliance tracking system for HR policies, reporting requirements, and regulatory changes
  • Support HR compliance audits, reporting, and risk assessments

Preferred Qualifications

  • U.S. Federal Contractor Requirements
  • Experience with regulatory tracking tools, HR compliance or HR case management systems
  • Knowledge of GDPR, AI Act (EU), EEOC, OFCCP and similar regulations
  • Previous experience working with legal counsel or compliance teams on HR-related issues
