Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent compliance certification
- 4+ years of Payroll Tax compliance experience, with demonstrated expertise in payroll regulations for at least two EMEA countries
- Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations, HR policies, and payroll compliance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions
- Proven ability to lead and manage complex payroll compliance projects with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Payroll Compliance team and other internal divisions to understand and document country-specific payroll compliance requirements
- Conduct research to support global expansion projects and ensure compliance with local payroll tax laws across the EMEA region
- Compile and maintain country-specific payroll knowledge bases and compliance blueprints
- Provide guidance on general payroll tax queries and compliance matters within the EMEA region
- Support client escalations by investigating issues, identifying root causes, and proposing solutions
- Assist in drafting and reviewing compliance documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Communicate with internal teams, external partners to gather and disseminate payroll compliance information
- Educate product and development teams on country-specific payroll requirements and best practices
- Support the development and maintenance of legislative specifications for multiple jurisdictions within the region
- Provide insights and guidance to internal teams to ensure continuous compliance awareness and upskilling
- Maintain detailed records of compliance activities, ensuring transparency and accountability
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with payroll processing is a strong advantage
- Excellent research and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong project management skills, including planning and delivering under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Scrum/Agile methodologies for managing tasks and priorities
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients and align diverse stakeholders
- Ability to independently navigate and interpret legislative changes
