Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician or similar role
• Experience with controls, ventilation, and package rooftop equipment in commercial settings required
• Valid HVAC license and EPA certification for handling refrigerants
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, electrical components, and mechanical operations
• Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving commercial HVAC-related issues
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and endure various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration components
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with commercial HVAC equipment and perform necessary repairs
• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of commercial HVAC systems
• Test electrical circuits, components, and thermostats for proper functionality
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturers’ instructions specific to commercial installations
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory tracking
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining system issues and maintenance requirements to commercial clients
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal HVAC codes and safety standards
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete projects efficiently
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices in commercial HVAC

Preferred Qualifications

Technical certification in HVAC or related field
