Summary
Join Hitachi Digital's Global Immigration Team as a skilled EMEA Immigration Specialist. You will ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations, manage the immigration process for employees, and provide guidance on immigration matters. The role involves maintaining accurate records, collaborating with various teams, and building relationships with government agencies. You will need 2-3 years of experience in a related field, advanced English communication skills, and a strong understanding of global immigration systems. Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Global Mobility, Visa & Travel, Immigration, HR, or related functions
- Advanced English Communication Skills
- Understanding of global immigration systems and requirements
- Proven experience in managing work permits/visa processes within an organization
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with government agencies and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Stay updated with and ensure compliance with immigration laws, regulations, and policies
- Monitor and manage the immigration process for employees and newcomers, including visa applications, work permits, residence permits and supporting documents
- Provide guidance, advice, and support to employees regarding immigration matters
- Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies, immigration authorities, and other relevant stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of immigration-related documentation
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal immigration policies and procedures
- Collaborate with Legal, HR, Travel, and other teams to ensure alignment between immigration policies and overall organizational policies
