In-Country Marketing Manager

Summary

Join Viamericas as an In-Country Marketing Manager responsible for growing relationships and developing new business opportunities in Central America and Latin America. This position requires a bachelor's degree, 7 years of relevant experience, fluency in English and Spanish, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in the money transfer industry or related industry
• Proven expertise in marketing within the financial services industry, preferably in money transfer services
• Strong understanding of central America market and cultural nuances
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel within the region and to other countries as needed

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities by establishing strategic alliances with potential pay partners
• Perform market research on corridor trends, competitors, local central banks, and other regulatory entities
• Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase Viamericas’ brand awareness in Latin America
• Ensure consistent and impactful marketing efforts
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to inform marketing strategies
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals
• Manage on the ground marketing to include dressing rural locations
• Actively engage and perform grass root events
• Visit a selection of points of payment assigned corridors
• Communicate marketing conditions to the marketing department
• Collaborate with any marketing projects
