Business Development Representative

Summary

The job is for an In-Country Business Development Representative in Australia for Mine Vision Systems (MVS). The role involves closing new business opportunities, qualifying leads, contacting potential clients, supporting resellers, participating in conferences and seminars, and providing feedback on market conditions. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3+ years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Meeting/exceeding sales objectives
• Qualifying leads from marketing activities as sales opportunities
• Contacting potential clients through a variety of channels including LinkedIn, email and cold calls
• Sourcing and supporting Australian resellers
• Supporting mining industry conferences and seminars
• Supporting onsite customer product evaluations and training
• Participating with MVS team members and leadership to provide thoughtful and insightful feedback on Australian market conditions, product capabilities and solution performance
• Tracking activity in the Salesforce system and keep management informed in a timely fashion

Preferred Qualifications

• General understanding of the mining and/or infrastructure industry is a plus
• Geology education and geology experience in a underground mining environment is a plus
