Summary

Dark Wolf Solutions is hiring a Junior-level ISSO to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their information systems and data. The ISSO will develop and enforce security policies, identify vulnerabilities, collaborate with IT teams, monitor logs, prepare compliance documentation, deliver training programs, and stay informed about emerging threats.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting an ISSO/ISSM in the development of Security Authorization requirements
• Up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging cybersecurity threats and trends

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the development, implementation, and enforcement of information security policies and procedures
• Conducting regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security gaps
• Collaborating with system administrators, network engineers, and other IT teams to ensure secure configurations
• Monitoring security logs and investigating security incidents
• Assisting in the preparation, maintenance, and submission of accreditation and compliance documentation
• Developing and delivering training programs to raise awareness among employees regarding information security best practices
• Staying abreast of emerging security threats, trends, and technologies
• Providing support during security audits and implementing audit recommendations
• Participating in security-related meetings and collaborating with stakeholders to address security concerns

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or CISM
• JIRA experience
• MS SQL
