The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Information Security or a related field, at least one year of hands-on experience, and relevant certifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in information security
• Strong understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in information security
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and management of security measures to safeguard our information systems
• Monitor security alerts and incidents, responding promptly to mitigate potential threats
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of our systems and processes
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies
• Provide support in the configuration and maintenance of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS systems
• Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in information security, proactively recommending improvements to enhance our security posture

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)) are a plus
