Remote Infrastructure Engineer

Requirements

• A background in programming - you understand what makes webapps tick and the typical developer workflow
• Scripting experience in Bash or Python - when things need to be automated, you can do so quickly
• Proficiency working with Linux
• Demonstrated experience using an Infrastructure as Code language (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible)
• Knowledge of a CI/CD platform (GitLab, CircleCI, GitHub Actions)
• Hands-on experience working with AWS

Responsibilities

• Join each and every one of your colleagues in creating an inclusive workspace
• Participate in day-to-day management of infrastructure components, including the implementation of security best practices
• Create and maintain automations for: CI/CD pipelines, drift maintenance, and testing
• Develop system runbooks and other documentation to aid business continuity, developer usability, and disaster recovery readiness
• Participate in the construction of a comprehensive monitoring solution that spans multiple applications and architectures, including tracking uptime, application errors, security alerts, and configuration issues
• Respond as a team to infrastructure outages and security alerts
• Maintain technical compliance with security frameworks, including SOC-2 and HIPAA
